NAGOYA, September 23. /Dunyo IA/.  A business forum organized by the Seikeijuku school for young entrepreneurs, with the participation of local businesspeople, was held in the Japanese city of Nagoya, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event was attended by executives of leading small and medium-sized enterprises of Aichi Prefecture and surrounding areas, as well as a representative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan to Japan, who delivered a special presentation.

Seikeijuku was founded in 1974 and has been engaged in training young entrepreneurs for over 50 years. The school implements a three-year educational program aimed at developing managerial and personal qualities, forming corporate principles and establishing long-term business ties.

Within the framework of the forum, the diplomats presented the economic and investment opportunities of Uzbekistan, highlighting the ongoing political and economic reforms, economic growth dynamics, tax and customs incentives for foreign investors, as well as the operation of free economic and special industrial zones.

Special attention was paid to state measures aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses and the prospects for expanding trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Japan.

Presentation was followed by a Q&A session. The participants expressed particular interest in Uzbekistan's geographical location, the potential of its young population, and the dynamically growing domestic consumer market.

Following the forum, the leadership of Seikeijuku and the event participants agreed to organize a visit of a 30-member Japanese business delegation to Uzbekistan in December.

During the trip, the entrepreneurs plan to visit Tashkent and other regions of the country, familiarize themselves with leading enterprises and investment projects, as well as hold direct meetings and negotiations with Uzbek businesspeople.

Organizers anticipate that the forum and the subsequent visit of the Japanese delegation will contribute to establishing new business contacts and expanding cooperation between representatives of small and medium-sized businesses of the two countries.
