Remains of Uzbek soldier from Fergana who died in World War II brought from Belarus to Uzbekistan

BUDA-KOSHELYOVO, October 3. /Dunyo IA/. The remains of Abdullajon Dadaboyev, an Uzbek national who died during the Second World War, have been solemnly brought from Belarus to Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Abdullajon Dadaboyev was born in 1918 in the Uzbekistan district of the Fergana region. He died heroically during World War II while defending the territory of present-day Belarus from enemy forces. His remains were formally handed over to representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of Uzbekistan.
The leadership of the Executive Committee of the Buda-Koshelevo district, the general public, veterans, and young people took part in the memorial event.
In his address, Valentin Undrul, Chairman of the Buda-Koshelevo District Executive Committee, emphasized that despite the many decades that have passed, the horrors of the Second World War continue to resurface through newly discovered facts, personal stories, and historical findings. He underlined that each of these revelations serves as a solemn reminder of the immense human tragedies of that time. According to him, during the search operations carried out this year, the remains of soldier Abdullajon Dadabayev, born in 1918, as well as his equipment and ammunition, were found in the Fergana region in the territory of the village of Rogin.
The district leadership expressed gratitude to the 52nd Specialized Search Battalion of the Ministry of Defence of Belarus and the "Red Epaulets" search club of the Gomel Cadet Educational Institution for their dedicated efforts in conducting the search operations.
The remains of Abdullajon Dadabaev, a heroic son of the Uzbek people, were brought from Minsk to Uzbekistan on September 27.
