Archival exhibition and photo album on Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations presented in Baku

As part of the implementation of the Comprehensive Program of Events marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, a presentation of the photo album "Uzbek-Azerbaijani Relations in Archival Photographs" and an exhibition of archival documents titled "Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan – Two Brotherly Nations" took place in Baku, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The events were attended by Director of the "Uzarchive" Agency Ulugbek Yusupov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan Bahrom Ashrafkhanov, and representatives of the Main Department of the National Archive of Azerbaijan.
The archival exhibition features more than 50 photo documents with scientific and informational annotations, highlighting the cultural and humanitarian ties between the two nations from 1930 to 2023. The materials were provided by the National Archive of Film, Photo, and Audio Documents of Uzbekistan and the National Archive of Azerbaijan.
Particular interest among visitors was drawn by materials documenting mutual visits, meetings between representatives of the two countries, cooperation in the fields of economy, science, and culture, as well as events such as Days of Literature and Art.
Following the exhibition, the photo album "Uzbek-Azerbaijani Relations in Archival Photographs" was officially presented. The album includes around 250 archival photo documents and their scientific annotations, covering the cultural and humanitarian interaction between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan over the period from 1930 to 2023. The materials were provided by the relevant archives of both countries.
A significant number of copies of the album were presented as a gift to the National Archive of Azerbaijan.
