Uzbek business can expand into new markets through Frankfurt International Exhibitions

FRANKFURT AM MAIN, June 6. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats from the General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Frankfurt am Main held a meeting with Katrin Ordnung, Head of Protocol and Political Relations at the exhibition company Messe Frankfurt GmbH, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Messe Frankfurt” is one of the world's largest exhibition companies and a leading organizer of international trade fairs, congresses, and business events in Germany. The company’s history spans over 800 years, originating from trade fairs held in Frankfurt. Currently, “Messe Frankfurt” organizes over 150 exhibitions and business events in more than 50 countries worldwide.
During the conversation, the parties discussed expanding the participation of Uzbek companies in international specialized exhibitions and trade fairs held at “Messe Frankfurt” venues, as well as prospects for promoting Uzbekistan's export potential in the European market.
Particular attention was paid to opportunities for involving domestic manufacturers in leading industry exhibitions in the fields of textiles, food products, agriculture, information technology, medicine, and innovation. The importance of such events for establishing direct business contacts, searching for new partners, and attracting investment was emphasized.
Representatives of the Consulate General informed the German side about the large-scale economic reforms underway in Uzbekistan, measures to support entrepreneurship, the development of export-oriented industries, and the creation of a favourable investment climate.
For her part, Katrin Ordnung expressed interest in further expanding cooperation with Uzbek partners and confirmed her readiness to assist in informing the business circles of Uzbekistan about upcoming exhibition events in Frankfurt am Main.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain regular contacts to increase the representation of Uzbek companies at international exhibition venues in Germany and to further strengthen trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
