DELHI, February 1. /"Dunyo" IA/. A popular Indian singer, a well-known representative of the music and entertainment industry, Shibani Kashyap, in an interview with a Dunyo IA correspondent, spoke about the prospects for the further development of cultural ties between Uzbekistan and India.

During the meeting held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan, the special role of culture and art in the interaction between the two countries and peoples over the centuries was emphasized.


Last year, the singer performed a tour program in Uzbekistan, which was rich in songs, music and dances loved by the public.


"As part of five concert programs in Andijan, Kokand and Tashkent, we communicated with ordinary people, got acquainted with the spiritual and cultural values of the Uzbek people," says the popular Indian singer. - I fell in love with Uzbekistan. Our trip was full of wonderful and unforgettable experiences.


Recalling the sincere hospitality from Uzbekistan’s lovers of Indian music, Shibani Kashyap emphasized the need to harness the powerful influence of art for strengthening ties between our peoples.


"We Indians must discover Uzbekistan, learn more about the country," continued Shibani Kashyap. – In this process, it is crucial to develop cooperation for promoting Uzbek culture, music, dance, fashion, design, national cuisine, and the country’s tourism potential. Uzbekistan has beautiful nature and natural landscapes, so it is important to organize the filming of Bollywood films, music videos and songs of famous performers on Uzbek soil in cooperation.


During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on new projects aimed at further developing cultural ties between the two countries.
