ТАSHKENT, July 24. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, at the beginning of the conversation, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev highly praised the active efforts of the Emir of Qatar to ensure peace and stability in the Middle East.

Two leaders discussed bringing the Uzbekistan–Qatar strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation to a new level. They noted with particular satisfaction the intensification of fruitful dialogue and exchanges at the highest and high levels.

During the telephone conversation, they agreed to take coordinated measures to intensify political dialogue and accelerate the implementation of trade, economic, and investment projects.

Leaders of Uzbekistan and Qatar also exchanged views on the schedule of upcoming high-level events.
