Finančné Noviny: Tashkent International Financial Centre to Boost Uzbekistan’s Appeal for Foreign Businesses

BRATISLAVA, July 19. /Dunyo IA/. The establishment of the Tashkent International Financial Centre (TIFC) is aimed at developing Uzbekistan’s financial sector and attracting foreign investors, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the Slovak newspaper “Finančné Noviny,” the centre will operate in line with international standards and apply principles of English law, which is expected to increase Uzbekistan’s attractiveness for global businesses.

Leading international consulting firms, including White & Case, PwC, and Ernst & Young, were involved in developing the concept and legal framework of the project.

The TIFC is expected to strengthen Uzbekistan’s position as a financial hub in Central Asia and further integrate the country into the global economy.
