“Business Turk”: Uzbekistan is transforming into one of the leading Investment Hubs of Eurasia

TASHKENT, July 20. /Dunyo IA/. Influential Turkish magazine “Business Turk” has released a special edition dedicated to the V Tashkent International Investment Forum, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Publication highlights that, due to the comprehensive reforms implemented over the past five years, Uzbekistan has transformed into one of Central Asia's most attractive investment platforms. This is vividly demonstrated by the execution of the V Tashkent International Investment Forum at a high organizational level and the substantial interest it garnered from the international community.
According to the publication, approximately 10,000 delegates from over 100 countries worldwide participated in the forum, culminating in the signing of investment agreements totaling 43.1 billion USD. This figure marks the highest result in the entire history of the forum.
Special attention in the article is devoted to the address delivered by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the forum. It notes that the total volume of foreign investment attracted into the country's economy exceeded 150 billion USD, of which 123 billion USD was secured over the past five years. Magazine highlighted these indicators as a direct result of establishing a favorable investment climate in the country and the overall effectiveness of the ongoing structural reforms.
Furthermore, the publication notes that the initiatives to establish the Tashkent International Financial Center, develop high-tech industrial sectors, green energy, artificial intelligence, the digital economy and expand transport and logistics infrastructure lay a solid foundation for Uzbekistan's long-term economic development.
According to the authors, through the ongoing structural reforms, Uzbekistan is steadily consolidating its position as one of the key investment and logistics hubs of Eurasia. The country's strategic geographical location, the development of modern transport corridors, digital transformation processes and the highly favorable conditions established for investors are attracting growing attention from international businesses.
Furthermore, special edition places a distinct focus on the economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye. In particular, Minister of Trade of Türkiye Ömer Bolat, noted that the structural reforms implemented in Uzbekistan have significantly enhanced the country's investment attractiveness. According to him, Turkish companies have executed 325 projects in the Republic, with a total value reaching 9.5 billion USD.
