Uzbek Musicians Take Part in Music Festival in Berlin

BERLIN, September 5. /Dunyo IA/. The international “Pop-Kultur” music festival has concluded in the German capital, featuring Uzbek singers and composers Sayyora Musaeva and Laylo Rikhsiyeva, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The festival program featured concerts, creative meetings and various musical events. Performances by the Uzbek artists were held as part of the “Sonic Crossings” project, which brings together representatives of the music industry from different countries around the world.
Singer and composer Sayyora Musaeva presented her musical program at the festival, combining elements of contemporary pop music, folk music and national motifs. The concert featured compositions from her studio album “Yangi Tong” (“New Dawn”), recorded in 2025.
Singer and composer Laylo Rikhsiyeva, a representative of the musical dynasty of renowned Uzbek musician and maqom expert Yunus Rajabi, also performed her concert program. Her repertoire included the original compositions “Home,” “Simple” and “Cry.” The artist’s work organically combines contemporary musical styles with national traditions, exploring themes of human emotions and the search for one’s place in life.
The participation of Uzbek musicians in the “Pop-Kultur” festival contributed to the wider promotion of contemporary Uzbek music and the country’s national cultural traditions on European stages.
