ISLAMABAD, September 27. /Dunyo IA/.   Leading Pakistani media outlets are extensively covering the upcoming 5^th Samarkand Forum on Human Rights, which will be held on September 28–29^th, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

In particular, Pakistan’s national news agency, “Associated Press of Pakistan”, as well as “Urdureport”, “Network News Pakistan”, “Infora News” and “Daily Afaq” have published reports in English and Urdu on the upcoming 5th Samarkand Forum on Human Rights.

Publications note that the Forum will be held under the theme of strengthening global cooperation for human dignity, equality and sustainable development.

“The upcoming Forum will focus on the 60th anniversary of the adoption of two foundational United Nations documents - the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, adopted on December 16^th, 1966; the 40^th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration on the Right to Development; as well as the 30^th anniversary of the National Center for Human Rights of Uzbekistan”, reports state.
