It is noted that 34 years after its debut on the international stage, the national team of Uzbekistan has won a ticket to the World Cup for the first time, fulfilling the long-standing dream of Uzbek football fans.

The publication emphasizes that the national team confidently progressed through the qualifying tournament, scoring 27 goals and conceding only 11 in 16 matches. Successful friendly matches against the national teams of Egypt and Venezuela are also highlighted.

According to the publication, under the leadership of the world champion Fabio Cannavaro, the national team demonstrates a high level of tactical discipline. Eldor Shomurodov, the all-time top scorer in the history of the national team and Abdukodir Khusanov, a defender for the English club Manchester City, are named as the team’s leaders.
