ISLAMABAD, October 29. /Dunyo IA/.  On the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan, a catalog titled “Uzbekistan: Regions of Opportunity” has been published, dedicated to the trade, economic and investment potential of the country's regions, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

An address by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Alisher Tukhtaev to the business circles of Pakistan is published on the opening pages of the catalog.

Publication further presents data on the trade, economic, and investment opportunities of 10 districts and cities of the republic, including the cities of Nukus, Jizzakh, Kattakurgan and Khanabad, as well as Gurlan, Olot, Mirishkor, Yakkasaray, Dangara and Izboskan districts, alongside Navoi region.

Edition has been prepared to promote the economic, investment, export, and tourism potential of the regions of Uzbekistan among the business circles of Pakistan, as well as to assist in strengthening the material and technical base of technical colleges in the regions.

Catalog provides comprehensive information on the current pace of economic development in Uzbekistan, the investment climate, opportunities available for foreign investors and the current state of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.

A separate section has been compiled for each region, highlighting the main economic advantages, manufacturing capabilities, export potential, proposed investment projects and specific areas where cooperation with Pakistani companies is possible. Collection is also supplemented with high-quality photographs reflecting the modern appearance of the regions, production facilities, tourist sites, and investment opportunities.

The 166-page catalog was published with a circulation of 300 copies. It is planned to be distributed among major chambers of commerce and industry, business circles and prominent business associations of Pakistan.
