South Korean Media Highlight Expanding Strategic Partnership with Uzbekistan

SEOUL, September 13. /Dunyo IA/. South Korean magazines “Diplomacy Journal” and “UN Journal” are actively covering the ongoing state visit of President of Uzbekistan to South Korea, publishing articles on the development of bilateral and regional cooperation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The publications note that over more than three decades, relations between the two countries have evolved into a special strategic partnership encompassing industry, investment, education, healthcare and digitalization.
Particular attention is given to the first Republic of Korea–Central Asia Summit, which will be held in Seoul. Key areas highlighted include critical minerals, transport, energy, artificial intelligence, digitalization and workforce development.
The publications also note the potential for further expansion of Korean investment in Uzbekistan, including the development of industrial clusters, localization of production, raw material processing and the introduction of modern technologies.
According to the media, the new regional format could bring Uzbekistan–South Korea cooperation to a broader level and contribute to the integration of Central Asian enterprises into international production chains.
