TASHKENT, November 30. /IA "Dunyo"/. The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Karomidin Gadoev arrived in the capital of Malaysia this morning, a "Dunyo" information agency correspondent reports.

Before that, he worked as deputy head of the department for cooperation with the UN and other international political organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is 59 years old, born in the village of Kumushkent, Bukhara region. Graduated from the Faculty of Geography of Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan). Candidate of Geographical Sciences. Since 1995, he has been working in the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including in various positions in the central office, the Mission of Uzbekistan to NATO and the Embassy in Brussels.
He holds the diplomatic rank of Councilor First Class.
Karomidin Gadoev replaced Ravshan Usmanov, who headed the diplomatic mission in Kuala Lumpur as ambassador in 2018–2023.
