Newly Appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan presents credentials to the King of Denmark

COPENHAGEN, November 27. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, Rahmatulla Nurimbetov, newly appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Denmark, with residence in Stockholm, presented his credentials to King Frederik X of Denmark, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Following the formal credentials presentation, Ambassador Rahmatulla Nurimbetov held an audience with His Majesty, during which the current state and future prospects of Uzbekistan-Denmark relations were discussed. The talks focused on enhancing political dialogue, expanding trade and economic cooperation, promoting investment opportunities, advancing technological collaboration, and strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.
During the dialogue, both sides also highlighted the considerable potential to further activate bilateral cooperation in key sectors, including the development of the mining industry, renewable energy, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, as well as enhancing climate resilience and environmental protection.
It is recalled that Uzbekistan and Denmark established diplomatic relations on 25 January 1992. Rahmatulla Nurimbetov presented his credentials to King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden on 4 December 2024 as Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Sweden, and to King Harald V of Norway on 15 May 2025 as Ambassador to Norway.
