BISHKEK, July 28. /Dunyo IA/. On July 28–29th, Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Makhkamov and Minister of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan Talantbek Soltoboev, will visit the main construction sites of the “China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan” railway on the territory of Kyrgyzstan to review the progress of the construction works, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the Kyrgyz National Information Agency “Kabar”, during the trip, the parties will review the construction of tunnels, bridges and other infrastructure facilities in Kyrgyzstan, as well as discuss the pace of work and upcoming tasks.
The ministers will also exchange views on ensuring the timely and high-quality execution of the construction work.
As the agency emphasizes, “China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan” railway project holds strategic importance, aiming to strengthen transport links between the three countries, expand Kyrgyzstan's transit potential and create a new international transport corridor.
