MINSK, September 22. /Dunyo IA/.   Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Belarus Nuriddin Mamajonov, discussed the preparations for the Uzbek-Belarusian Interparliamentary Forum with Sergei Aleinik, Chairman of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus on International Affairs and National Security, in Minsk, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Forum, which will take place on September 29–30^th in Khiva, will be dedicated to new economic agreements.

In Khiva, it is planned to discuss prospects for expanding industrial cooperation, interaction between regions, and the development of trade and economic ties. A number of agreements and commercial contracts are also being prepared for the forum.

Particular attention was paid to the practical role of parliamentary dialogue. According to Sergei Aleinik, parliamentarians can directly facilitate the implementation of the agreements reached by the leaders of the two countries.

Upcoming meeting in Khiva is expected to provide a new practical impetus to cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus and outline further directions for the development of the bilateral partnership.
