Publication notes that, alongside developing the tourism sector, Uzbekistan pays particular attention to the use of modern digital tools to promote the country's tourism opportunities among international audiences.
To this end, the country is developing cooperation with major digital platforms to expand its presence in the international tourism market. In particular, cooperation with companies such as Expedia Group, Amadeus IT Group and Trip.com makes it possible to present tourism products to a wide audience, while making information about Uzbekistan more accessible and convenient for foreign travellers.
The article also notes that the country's digital promotion is complemented by the international promotion of its rich historical and cultural heritage and diverse tourist destinations. Historic cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, national culture and traditions, as well as natural attractions, are identified among the key factors contributing to Uzbekistan's tourism appeal.
At the same time, “Amwaj” emphasizes that expanding cooperation with international digital platforms will contribute to attracting tourists from new international markets, strengthening Uzbekistan's tourism brand on the international stage and further enhancing its position in the global tourism market.
