Tashkent Region prepares for the Traditional “Uzum Sayli” Grape Festival

ТАSHKENT, August 11. /Dunyo IA/. Tourism Committee, in cooperation with the Tashkent Region Hokimiyat, will hold the “Uzum Sayli” Grape Festival on August 21–22nd this year in Zarkent village, Parkent District, Tashkent Region, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Main objectives of the event are to increase tourist flows, facilitate the exchange of experience in viticulture and winemaking, promote ecotourism products on international markets and attract foreign investment to Uzbekistan.
Festival will bring together farms from across the country, entrepreneurs operating in the field of enotourism, as well as enterprises producing various types of natural beverages.
Event will feature agricultural fairs, exhibitions showcasing international wine industry brands, as well as international conferences and forums dedicated to the development of viticulture.
Festival’s cultural programme will include performances by national folk ensembles and pop artists, along with large-scale events showcasing the customs and traditions of the Uzbek people.
