BEIRUT, September 30. /Dunyo IA/. The Lebanese army said that a soldier and three civilians were wounded in a strike on the Nabatieh al-Fawqa area in southern Lebanon, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing “The Times of Israel.”

According to the army, the soldier sustained serious injuries after an army vehicle was targeted, while three civilians were also wounded in the incident.

Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported that a drone strike hit the area, which has come under repeated attacks in recent weeks despite the framework agreement signed by the two sides on June 26 under US mediation.

The Israeli military has not yet commented on the incident. Israel has previously said that it carries out individual strikes against Hezbollah targets that, according to its claims, violate the terms of the ceasefire.

The agreement provides for the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanese territory and the deployment of the Lebanese army in areas from which Israeli troops withdraw. The Lebanese military began deploying in two pilot zones provided for under the agreement in July, but further implementation of the deal has since stalled.

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam discussed the issue with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington and called for the continued implementation of the agreement.
