PARIS, April 30. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation from the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan has concluded its working visit to France, which included a series of productive meetings, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the visit, delegates held talks with leading French public and private organizations in the sectors of trade, healthcare, agriculture, employment and education.

Specifically, meetings with representatives from France’s Ministries of the Interior, National Education, and Foreign Affairs led to agreements on supporting pilot projects for recruiting Uzbek citizens for seasonal work, joint initiative implementation and exchanging expertise in vocational training.

The sides discussed recruiting labour migrants for supermarkets, warehouses, and production facilities with organizations specializing in trade and distribution.

In the medical field, mechanisms for the employment and language training of Uzbek nurses in France were explored.

Collaboration was established with a major French farmers' association in the agricultural sector. An agreement was reached to launch a pilot project for recruiting Uzbek citizens for seasonal work in vineyards.

In addition, issues regarding specialist selection, employment and vocational training were reviewed in collaboration with the French employment service, vocational training centers, and recruiting companies.

In the field of education, agreements were reached on exchanging expertise with professional training centers and developing the personnel training system.

Following the meetings, several memoranda were signed with various organizations, and concrete steps were defined to establish practical cooperation.

Overall, the visit marked a significant step in expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and France in labour migration, employment and vocational education, creating new job opportunities for citizens.
