“BaltTour-2026” Showcases Uzbek Cultural Heritage and Attracts Visitors from Latvia and the EU

RIGA, February 8. /Dunyo IA/. Uzbekistan’s rich tourism potential was showcased at the 31st “BaltTour-2026” tourism exhibition held in the Latvian capital, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“BaltTour” is one of the largest and most prestigious international tourism events in the Baltic countries. Each year, the exhibition attracts over 30,000 visitors and brings together around 1,000 companies from approximately 30 countries, working in both wholesale and retail tourism.
During the event, diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan, together with representatives of the Latvian travel company “Al Svets”, presented a national stand highlighting the country’s rich history and cultural heritage.
Representatives from Latvia and several European Union countries who visited the stand noted the steady development of tourism cooperation with Uzbekistan. They also emphasized that such international exhibitions help strengthen friendly relations between countries.
In addition, participants expressed strong interest in visiting Uzbekistan, highlighting the country’s growing popularity as a promising and attractive tourist destination for visitors from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Finland.
