PRAGUE, January 27. /Dunyo IA/.   Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Czech Republic have held talks with the senior management of the Czech company “ABF, a.s.”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the talks, the sides discussed prospects for the participation of representatives of Uzbekistan in the international tourism and regional travel exhibition “Holiday World & Region World”, scheduled to take place in Prague from 12 to 14 March 2026.

“ABF, a.s.”, the organiser of the Czech Republic’s largest and only specialised tourism exhibition, “Holiday World & Region World” oversees the event designed for both industry professionals (B2B) and the general public (B2C).

In 2025, the exhibition brought together more than 300 representatives of tourism organisations and hotels from 25 countries, each presenting their national and regional tourism offerings through dedicated exhibition stands.

The company’s management noted that they had gained first-hand insight into Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage, tourism potential and national cuisine during a cultural and gastronomic festival held in Prague on 17 December 2025. This experience, they said, served as a key factor behind the invitation extended to Uzbekistan to take part in the upcoming “Holiday World & Region World” exhibition.

According to the event program, the opening day will be held in a B2B format, featuring scheduled business meetings between tour operators, travel agencies and national tourism authorities. The subsequent days will be open to the general public and will offer a diverse program of cultural events and destination presentations.

As a result of the talks, an agreement was reached to grant members of Uzbekistan’s tourism associations the opportunity to participate in the exhibition on preferential terms.
