British Technology Company ready to participate in the implementation of Innovative Projects in Uzbekistan

Diplomats of the Embassy of Uzbekistan held talks with Per Audun Lillebø, Chief Executive Officer of Cambi ASA - parent company of “Cambi Group”, one of the world’s leading developers of innovative technological solutions for water purification and environmental sustainability, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the visit, Uzbek delegation also toured the company’s manufacturing facility in Congleton and the wastewater treatment plant in Strongford, operated by the UK water utility company “Severn Trent Water”, where Advanced technological solutions of “Cambi Group” are being implemented. The participants familiarised themselves with the production processes and gained insights into the practical application and operational features of the company’s innovative technologies.
According to Per Audun Lillebø, “Cambi Group” is one of the world’s leading technology companies that has developed innovative solutions based on the Thermal Hydrolysis Process (THP) for the efficient treatment of wastewater sludge and organic waste. Today, the company’s technologies are being implemented at nearly 100 wastewater treatment facilities across more than 25 countries worldwide.
In particular, “Cambi” equipment is widely used in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Spain, Poland, India, China, Singapore, Republic of South Africa, countries across South America, Morocco, Australia, Republic of Korea and Japan, demonstrating the global reach of the company’s advanced environmental technologies.
It was noted that Technologies of “Cambi” can reduce the volume of wastewater sludge by up to half, increase the efficiency of biofertiliser and biogas production by up to 50 percent, and enable the generation of an odour-free recycled product suitable for direct use in agriculture.
Representatives of “Cambi Group” highlighted the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan aimed at modernising water supply and wastewater management infrastructure and expressed their readiness to contribute to the implementation of promising large-scale projects by offering the company’s advanced technological solutions. It was emphasised that these technologies fully align with Uzbekistan’s objectives to enhance the efficiency of wastewater treatment facilities and minimise environmental impact.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to involve “Cambi Group” in the implementation of promising projects in Uzbekistan.
