Delegations of Uzbekistan and Iran discussed in Tehran issues of increasing mutual trade volumes and expanding freight transport between the two countries

TASHKENT, August 18. /Dunyo IA/. On August 17, in Tehran, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with Khamid Kanbariy, Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran for Trade and Economic Affairs, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the MFA, the meeting discussed the current state and prospects for developing trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, increasing the volume of bilateral trade, expanding the range of mutual supplies, and enhancing interaction between the business communities.
Particular attention was paid to developing transport and transit cooperation, improving the efficiency of existing routes, and creating favorable conditions for increasing the volume of freight transportation between Uzbekistan and Iran.
