TASHKENT, August 17. /Dunyo IA/. The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met today with the Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Araghchi in Tehran, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the MFA, during the meeting, the sides discussed current issues of bilateral relations, including further strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as developing transport, transit, cultural and humanitarian ties.

Particular attention was paid to further improving mechanisms of intergovernmental cooperation and intensifying contacts between the business communities of the two countries.

The sides also held a substantive exchange of views on pressing regional and international issues of mutual interest.
