ASHGABAT, August 26. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation of Uzbekistan’s business community participated in the international trade fair “Kids Expo 2026,” held in Ashgabat on August 19–22, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The delegation included representatives of the Khorezm Regional Department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as leading manufacturers and exporters of the country.

During the exhibition, meetings and negotiations were held between representatives of the business communities of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. The sides discussed increasing mutual trade volumes and supplying Uzbek household and electrical products, construction materials, and furniture to the Turkmen market.

Particular attention was paid to establishing new distribution networks and implementing joint projects.

Following the B2B negotiations, entrepreneurs from the two countries reached a number of export agreements and arrangements on product supplies, expansion of trade operations, and long-term cooperation.

Entrepreneurs from Khorezm Region and representatives of the Turkmen business community also signed a bilateral memorandum on the development of trade and economic cooperation.

The agreements provide for expanding trade ties, developing and implementing new joint projects, intensifying export-import operations, and expanding opportunities for manufacturers from both countries to enter new markets.

The meetings and negotiations held are aimed at further developing trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, expanding direct contacts between entrepreneurs, and strengthening the position of Uzbek products in the Turkmen market.
