WARSAW, July 23. /Dunyo IA/.  A delegation led by Abror Akbarov, a representative of the Committee for Veterinary and Livestock Development, participated in a series of events organized in Poland, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Delegation members closely familiarized themselves with the operations of several large enterprises specializing in the production and export of poultry, fish, and other types of meat products.

Within the framework of the visit, our representatives met with the Head of the General Veterinary Inspectorate of Poland, Paweł Meyer. During the negotiations, Polish side provided information regarding the inspection program, procedures for inspecting enterprises, the veterinary control system, requirements for exporting companies, the certification process and mechanisms for ensuring food safety.

During the meeting, the sides discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of veterinary medicine, livestock farming, and the food industry, as well as the export of meat products from Poland to our country.

Furthermore, views were exchanged on providing consultation and practical assistance regarding phytosanitary, quarantine and veterinary requirements to facilitate the entry of Uzbek entrepreneurs into the markets of Poland and other European Union nations with their goods.

Uzbek side emphasized that ensuring full compliance of imported meat products into our republic with “Halal” standards is of paramount importance.

In this regard, it was proposed to involve Uzbek experts, who are highly knowledgeable in “Halal” production requirements, in the Polish enterprises undergoing inspection.

It was noted that this initiative will serve to organize the production process based on the established norms, strengthen confidence in product quality and fully protect the interests of consumers.
