Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom expand cooperation in civil service training

LONDON, July 18. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation from the Agency for Governance efficiency under the President of Uzbekistan visited the United Kingdom to advance bilateral cooperation in the field of civil service and enhance the quality of public administration, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the visit, the delegation held meetings with representatives of UK government institutions and leading global academic and research institutions, including the University of Oxford, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and Imperial College London.
The discussions focused on improving the effectiveness of public administration, modernizing the civil service system, strengthening the training and professional development of senior public officials, enhancing human resource management practices, introducing modern public policy implementation tools, and reinforcing effective execution and accountability across government institutions.
Particular attention was also given to the development of modern educational programs and the expansion of academic and research cooperation in the field of public administration.
Following the talks, the parties reached agreements to organize advanced training programs for civil servants, introduce international best practices, implement joint educational and research initiatives, and further expand institutional cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom.
