ТASHKENT, December 24. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation of Uzbekistan, led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olimjon Abdullaev held a warm and friendly meeting in Riyadh with compatriots who have been residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for many years, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the roundtable discussion was attended by doctors, representatives of the education sector, service industry employees, students and entrepreneurs. During the meeting, participants were informed about the measures being taken by the Government of Uzbekistan to protect the rights and interests of citizens living abroad, provide consular and legal assistance and expand access to services, including through digitalized consular platforms.

Compatriots expressed their gratitude for the opportunities created by the Embassy and diplomatic missions and noted their regular use of consular services.

The discussion also covered ongoing negotiations with relevant Saudi authorities aimed at creating legal and decent employment opportunities as well as prospects for education and development opportunities for young people.

At the conclusion of the meeting, an open dialogue was continued, during which the views and proposals of compatriots were heard. Special attention was also given to the importance of strict compliance with the laws of the host country and avoiding any illegal activities.
