Uzbek Diplomats assist in returning seriously ill national from Poland to the homeland

WARSAW, March 12. /Dunyo IA/. During a routine citizens’ reception organised by the Consular Section of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland, embassy officials held a conversation with an Uzbek national, R.M., who was born in the Samarkand region, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the conversation, R.M. explained that she had arrived in Poland in April 2023 on a work visa for temporary employment.
She also noted that she had been suffering from a serious illness and had been undergoing treatment at one of Poland’s medical institutions.
In this regard, R.M. appealed for assistance in returning to Uzbekistan and arranging further medical treatment in her home country.
In response to her request, the Embassy - in cooperation with the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan - took all necessary measures to facilitate her return. In particular, an airline ticket was purchased and temporary accommodation was provided for her prior to departure.
On March 11, R.M. departed for Uzbekistan on the Warsaw - Tashkent flight.
