KUALA LUMPUR, September 17. /Dunyo IA/.  Cultural festival “Solidarity Without Borders”, which brought together art masters from Malaysia, Uzbekistan, China and India, was held in the capital of Malaysia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event, held as part of the cultural diplomacy week, attracted thousands of Malaysians and foreign tourists, becoming a platform for learning about the culture of different nations.

For the first time, the Uzbek State Ensemble “Maqom” participated in this prestigious festival in the ASEAN region. The national melodies and the sound of the doira performed by the musicians aroused great interest among the participants and demonstrated the uniqueness and richness of Uzbek musical art.

Participation of Uzbek artists contributed to the promotion of national culture and allowed for a wider presentation of the historical and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, its traditions, and tourism potential in Malaysia and other ASEAN countries.
