URGENT NOTICE! TO CITIZENS OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN IN THE STATE OF ISRAEL! PLEASE STRICTLY OBSERVE SECURITY MEASURES AND FOLLOW THE NECESSARY RECOMMENDATIONS!

Dear compatriots!
On behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the State of Israel, we kindly request permission to convey the following announcement to our citizens temporarily residing in the territory of Israel.
We respectfully ask you to listen carefully.
Dear compatriots!
In view of the current security situation and the declaration of a “State of Emergency” in the country until 12 March of this year, we kindly urge you to strictly observe the following measures in order to ensure your personal safety:
First, in the event that air-raid or missile alert sirens are sounded, immediately proceed to the nearest shelter or designated protected facility. Under no circumstances should such warnings be disregarded or should you remain in open areas.
Second, in the event of an emergency, immediately contact the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the State of Israel. The Embassy stands ready to provide all necessary consular assistance.
Third, we inform you that all foreign workers currently residing in Israel may address any inquiries or requests to the Call Centre of the “Population and Immigration Authority” under the Ministry of Interior of the State of Israel (PIBA).
Call Centre contact number: 1-700-707-889.
Fourth, you are strongly advised to save Israel’s emergency contact numbers on your mobile device:
Police: 100
Ambulance — Magen David Adom: 101
Fire and Rescue Service: 102
Home Front Command: 104
Fifth, during the sounding of sirens or at sites where rockets have landed, the recording of video or photographic material is strictly prohibited. Such actions may entail serious legal consequences from a security standpoint and could place your life at significant risk.
Sixth, attention: remaining near unidentified objects or missile debris poses a serious threat to life.
Please bear in mind that if you notice any fragments or unknown objects, you must immediately move to a safe distance and promptly notify the relevant security services. Unexploded ordnance or missile components may be present at such locations.
It is essential to remember that approaching - and especially touching - such objects is extremely dangerous and may endanger your life.
Seventh, should you wish to leave Israel or if the need arises to return to Uzbekistan, it is possible to exit via the Israel–Egypt border crossing point Taba Border Crossing (also known as “Taba/Begin”), located approximately 360 kilometres from Tel Aviv.
When crossing the border, you must possess a valid passport and all other required documents in proper order. At the checkpoint, strictly follow the instructions of the Israeli and Egyptian border authorities. As border crossing procedures and accessibility may change depending on the prevailing situation, it is strongly recommended to verify relevant information in advance through official sources.
From Taba, travel to Sharm El-Sheikh (approximately 270 kilometres) is available by bus or private vehicle. From Sharm El Sheikh International Airport, it is possible to return to Uzbekistan via scheduled flights operated by “Uzbekistan Airways”, “Centrum Air”, “Qanot Sharq”, “Air Samarkand”, as well as other local and international carriers.
In the event of any difficulties or emergencies while crossing into the territory of the Arab Republic of Egypt, please immediately contact the Embassies of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the State of Israel or in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
