CAIRO, July 10. /Dunyo IA/. Egypt's leading news agencies “Al-Ahram”, “Dar Al-Hilal”, “Dar Al-Maaref” and “Rose Al-Youssef” have widely covered the participation of the Egyptian delegation in the International Forum of Islamic Civilization, held in Tashkent, Samarkand and Termez, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Delivering a welcoming speech in Termez at the IV International Conference “The Termez School of Hadith Studies”, Minister of Awqaf of Egypt, Dr. Osama al-Azhari, highly praised the initiatives of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to preserve and popularize the heritage of Islamic civilization. He also called Termez one of the most important historical centers for the dissemination of Islamic science.

Meanwhile, at the "Sahih al-Bukhari: The Book of the Ummah" conference in Samarkand, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Nazir Ayyad, called the work of Imam al-Bukhari not merely a collection of hadiths, but a model of rigorous scientific method.

In turn, Director of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent, Dr. Firdavs Abdukhalikov, noted that the forum is a historic event. According to him, over 450 delegates from more than 50 countries are participating in the forum, and among the media partners are the CNN and Euronews television channels, which demonstrates the growing international interest in the event.
