TASHKENT, July 9. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov participated in the opening ceremony of the Belarus – Uzbekistan Friendship Alley in Minsk, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“As part of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the Republic of Belarus, we took part in the opening ceremony of the Belarus – Uzbekistan Friendship Alley, located on Tashkentskaya Street in Minsk, – wrote the head of MFA of Uzbekistan on his telegram-channel. – Together with my colleague, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, H.E. Maksim Ryzhenkov, we planted tree saplings as a symbol of the enduring friendship, mutual respect, trust, and strategic partnership between our two countries.

We are confident that this Friendship Alley will serve as a lasting symbol of the strong bonds, sincere relations, and multifaceted cooperation that unite the peoples of Uzbekistan and Belarus”.
