President of Uzbekistan Extends Condolences to President of China Following Deadly Fire and Floods

TASHKENT, July 10. /Dunyo IA/. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has extended his condolences to President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping over the numerous casualties, injuries, and widespread destruction caused by flooding in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and a major fire in Fujian Province, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing the Telegram-channel of Sherzod Asadov, Press Secretary to the President of Uzbekistan.
“The Head of State conveyed words of sympathy and support to the families and loved ones of those who died and wished a fast recovery to the injured,” the message says.
According to China’s Xinhua news agency, a fire at the Huiteng Shoes footwear factory in Fujian Province claimed the lives of 28 people. In recent days, several regions across China have also been affected by severe weather, including floods, thunderstorms, and landslides, which have resulted in more than 36 fatalities nationwide.
