MOSCOW, July 10. /Dunyo IA/.   Leading publication “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”, International Television Channel “MIR24” and other media outlets have published a series of articles on the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Belarus, which took place on July 8–9, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”, on July 8th, President of Uzbekistan arrived in Minsk, where he was met by the Prime Minister of Belarus Aleksandr Turchin, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov and other official dignitaries. Following tradition, the distinguished guest laid a wreath at the Victory Monument. The official negotiations of the delegations took place on July 9 - agenda included the industrial assembly of Belarusian products in Uzbekistan, mutual supplies of food and industrial goods, as well as cooperation in the fields of culture, education, science, and technology, including artificial intelligence and IT.

As reported by the “MIR24” television channel, on the eve of the official negotiations, the President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko, received Shavkat Mirziyoyev at his residence. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that following the historic visit of the Belarusian leader to Uzbekistan in 2024, relations between the two countries reached a new level, characterized by regular contacts at the levels of prime ministers, ministers and parliaments.

Opening of the Uzbekistan Trade House in Minsk , organized by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Tashkent and Minsk, was also widely covered. According to “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” and the media outlet “MIR24”, the deputy prime ministers of both countries attended the ceremony. Davron Vakhabov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, noted that the Trade House showcases Uzbek electrical equipment, home textiles, and other light industry products and that the facility itself is intended to become a platform for direct business contacts and the creation of joint ventures .
