Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah keen to expand cooperation with Uzbekistan

ABU DHABI, June 14. /Dunyo IA/. Uzbek diplomats met with the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, Mohamed Al Nuaimi, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the current state and prospects for the further development of trade, economic, investment, and business cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
Mohamed Al Nuaimi highly appreciated the large-scale economic reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, the favorable conditions being created for foreign investors, as well as the high investment potential of the country. He also noted the growing interest of the business circles of Ras Al Khaimah in expanding cooperation with Uzbekistan.
Following the results of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to organize a visit to Uzbekistan of a delegation of heads of companies from the emirate, led by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as to hold a business forum within the framework of the visit with the participation of representatives of the business circles of the two countries.
In addition, the parties also agreed to hold a “Made in Uzbekistan” exhibition in Ras Al Khaimah, as well as to jointly explore opportunities for attracting leading development and construction companies of the emirate to the implementation of projects in the real estate and urban development sectors on the territory of New Tashkent.
Parties confirmed their readiness to continue close interaction for the purpose of the practical implementation of the achieved agreements and the further deepening of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation.
