“Korea Times” newspaper recommends Uzbekistan as an Ideal Year-Round Destination for travelers

SEOUL, July 10. /Dunyo IA/. The largest English-language newspaper in South Korea, “The Korea Times”, has published an article titled “Uzbekistan: A destination for any season”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Publication notes that Uzbekistan is attractive to foreign tourists not only for its Silk Road cities - Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva but also for its unique natural sites, including mountains, deserts, lakes, and national parks. Information is also provided on the reforms implemented in the country for the accelerated development of the tourism industry, in particular, the introduction of a visa-free regime for citizens of 95 states, the improvement of transport and hotel infrastructure, as well as the fact that there are over 7,000 accommodation facilities and around 30 international hotel brands operating in the country.
According to the newspaper, Uzbekistan welcomed 11.7 million foreign tourists in 2025, with tourism service exports amounting to 4.8 billion U.S. dollars.
The article also highlights the tourism potential of Amirsoy, Chimgan, Beldersoy, Zaamin National Park, Charvak Reservoir, Lake Aydarkul, Kyzylkum Desert, as well as the regions of Karakalpakstan and Aral Sea zone.
Publication recommends Uzbekistan to South Korean citizens as a safe and attractive destination that harmoniously combines a rich cultural heritage, unique nature, national traditions and a modern tourism infrastructure.
