NOVOSIBIRSK, June 17. /Dunyo IA/.  Consul General of Uzbekistan Aslam Akbarov, paid a visit to Correctional Facility No. 2 under the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation for the Novosibirsk Region, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During individual talks held with each citizen of Uzbekistan, their requests and appeals were heard, and comprehensive details regarding the nature of their offenses committed within the Novosibirsk Region were documented. Furthermore, exhaustive answers were provided to all questions raised by the citizens.

It was established that 14 citizens of Uzbekistan are currently serving sentences at this correctional facility, having been convicted under various articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Immediate medical assistance was arranged on-site for a citizen suffering from kidney disease. In addition, the issue of providing meals compliant with Islamic dietary requirements was addressed during consultations with the facility’s leadership.
