ASHGABAT, March 2. /Dunyo IA/. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has undertaken measures to assist Uzbek citizens transiting from Iran to Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ashgabat is maintaining close coordination with the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and authorised institutions of Turkmenistan, while also remaining in constant contact with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Iran.

Embassy officials will meet citizens at the Turkmen - Iranian border crossing in the city of Sarakhs. Official vehicles of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ashgabat have been mobilized to facilitate onward travel arrangements.
