Prominent UAE Retail Conglomerate announces vacancies and employment channels for citizens of Uzbekistan

DUBAI, June 23. /Dunyo IA/.  Diplomats from the General Consulate of Uzbekistan held a working meeting with the leadership of the human resources and recruitment department at the headquarters of “Nesto Group”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, the sides extensively discussed the matters of institutionalizing legal employment frameworks for the citizens of Uzbekistan and generating new labour opportunities.

The company representatives were provided with comprehensive insights into the ongoing institutional reforms in Uzbekistan in the field of labor migration, alongside state measures implemented to protect the labor rights of citizens and establish a system of safe, orderly, and legal migration.

Furthermore, detailed information was presented regarding the specialized national network of monocenters dedicated to vocational training, re-training, and language certification of the workforce.

During the meeting, the representatives of “Nesto Group” expressed profound interest in employing citizens of Uzbekistan and presented an array of vacancies across their hypermarket and supermarket networks, including sales consultants, cashiers, merchandisers, department staff, warehouse workers, and cargo receiving specialists.

The employment packages comprehensively cover medical insurance, official working visa sponsorship, secure accommodation, and corporate transportation. The positions require a basic proficiency in the English language, and the company provides a specialized 50-day vocational training course for all onboarded personnel.

It was reported that the initial phase of the initiative provides for the employment of approximately 200 citizens of Uzbekistan, with a view toward further expansion. In 2026, the retail chain’s total workforce requirement across the Middle East is projected to reach around 1,500 personnel, offering employment horizons within the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Kuwait, and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Following the meeting, the sides expressed mutual readiness to advance cooperation, conduct a series of virtual consultations, and conclude a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding to institutionalize this partnership.
