SAINT PETERSBURG, June 23. /Dunyo IA/. A comprehensive article dedicated to the advancement of economic and investment cooperation between Russian Federation and Uzbekistan has been published by “Delovoy Peterburg”, the leading media outlet of Saint Petersburg, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The article notes that Russian enterprises are currently implementing over 150 strategic investment projects in Uzbekistan, totalling approximately 4 trillion roubles. It is emphasized that the Republic remains one of Russia's key economic partners in Central Asia, as bilateral economic ties continue to actively strengthen.

The publication also draws attention to the robust growth in reciprocal trade. According to the report, the trade turnover between the two nations increased by nearly 12 percent by the end of last year, and surged by almost 30 percent during the first three months of the current year. The Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan intend to systematically expand their trade portfolios by prioritizing high-tech products and high-value-added goods.
It is underscored that industrial co-operation between the two nations is developing dynamically, while the “North-South” and “East-West” transport corridors traversing Uzbekistan generate substantial additional opportunities for business.
