LONDON, July 28. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United Kingdom, in cooperation with representatives of the Uzbekistan “Trade Development Company”, have organised a trade mission to the UK, bringing together a delegation comprising representatives of more than 20 leading enterprises specialising in the production of agricultural products, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the visit, a series of practical and meaningful meetings were organized for the representatives of domestic exporting companies. In particular, negotiations were held at the “Whole Foods Market” supermarket chain, focusing on the operating principles of the international retail system, the specifics of trade processes, and the conditions for placing Uzbek products on the shelves of this prestigious chain.

During the meeting with the distribution company “Robin Food Ltd”, the parties discussed the most in-demand food products in the UK market, the specifics of their distribution and the factors contributing to the promotion of national brands on the international market.

As part of the visit to the “Skyford Warehousing” logistics center, the participants familiarized themselves with the capabilities for safe and rapid product delivery to the UK and European countries, modern warehouse infrastructure and effective solutions for organizing supply chains.

Following the trade mission, important agreements were reached aimed at developing promising cooperation, expanding export geography and further strengthening the position of Uzbek agricultural products in the UK market.
