Uzbekistan’s cultural and historical heritage showcased at International Festival in Guangzhou

GUANGZHOU, November 28. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats from Uzbekistan’s Consulate General in Guangzhou participated in the International Culture Day festival, joining Uzbek students studying in the southern provinces of China, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event held in Guangzhou brought together representatives from over 20 countries, including Germany, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Egypt, India, and Azerbaijan.
During the event, Uzbekistan’s rich cultural and historical heritage, tourism potential, as well as its national values, customs, and traditions were showcased. Performances by Uzbek expatriates, including traditional dances, received widespread acclaim from the audience.
The Uzbekistan pavilion, adorned with handicrafts and applied arts, as well as a variety of fruits, confectionery products, and traditional dishes, left a strong and lasting impression on the event participants.
University leaders attending the festival highly praised Uzbek students for their broad worldview, knowledge, strong ethics, diligence, and eagerness to embrace innovation.
It was emphasized that these cultural events contribute to the activation of direct air services between Guangzhou and Tashkent, while also expanding cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, and tourism sectors.
