New Ambassador of Uzbekistan presents copies of credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus

MINSK, July 28. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, newly appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan Nuriddin Mamajonov, presented copies of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, the Head of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus specifically highlighted the trusting and sincere nature of relations between the leaders of the two states, as well as the alignment of the parties' positions on current socio-political issues.

Interlocutors discussed the dynamic development of the Uzbek-Belarusian partnership and the implementation progress of the agreements reached following the top-level negotiations held on July 8–9 this year.

Particular attention was paid to increasing the volume of mutual trade to 2 billion dollars, intensifying interregional cooperation, and scaling the successful experience of interaction between the Andijan and Vitebsk regions to all regions of the two countries. In this regard, the parties exchanged relevant proposals and initiatives.

In addition, an exchange of views took place on the implementation of target projects stipulated by the “Roadmap” for 2026–2030, as well as the further development of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus.

“Heads of our states have set important tasks before us to bring bilateral cooperation to a qualitatively new level. In this direction, we maintain a regular working and friendly dialogue with my colleague, Bakhtiyor Saidov. Today, our ambassadors are required to work in accordance with new realities and modern requirements”, Maxim Ryzhenkov emphasized.
