CAIRO, January 27. /Dunyo IA/.  Abdulla Azizov, heads the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, met with Dr. Olfat Ghorab, Chairman and CEO of the Arab Company for Drug Industries & Medical Appliances (ACDIMA), reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The meeting was attended by Mansurbek Kilichev, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Egypt and Tamer Fathi, Egypt’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan.

Discussions focused on a range of collaborative initiatives, including ACDIMA’s training programs to enhance the skills of Uzbek specialists, advancing localization processes, organizing pharmaceutical distribution and implementing a promising joint project within the “Tashkent Pharma Park” pharmaceutical cluster.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue developing bilateral cooperation and to hold follow-up meetings.

It is one of Egypt’s leading producers and suppliers of essential pharmaceutical products, manufacturing over 600 million units annually, which are distributed to more than 70 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
