Uzbek agricultural produce draws growing interest from the Polish market, bolstering bilateral economic cooperation

WARSAW, February 17. /Dunyo IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan organized an online meeting between Khayrullo Soliev, Deputy Director of the Agency for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex under the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and Marek Plichta, Director of Sales at “Topaz”, one of Poland’s largest retail chains, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of one of Uzbekistan’s leading enterprises in the winemaking sector, JSC “Tashkent Wine Plant”.
Participants discussed further expansion of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland, increasing the volume of mutual trade and establishing direct business contacts. Opportunities for exporting Uzbek agricultural and food products to Poland were considered, including fresh fruits and vegetables, dried products, juices, as well as winemaking products.
It was noted that interest in Uzbek products on the Polish market, distinguished by high quality, environmental sustainability and competitive prices, is steadily growing.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed on practical cooperation, the shipment of product samples and the organization of additional B2B negotiations in the future.
