AMSTERDAM, February 14. /Dunyo IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Belgium, in cooperation with the “Netherlands Enterprise Agency” (RVO), presented the economic potential of Uzbekistan to representatives of Netherlands business circles and companies, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

At the event, diplomats provided detailed briefings on Uzbekistan’s recent reforms, achievements in fostering economic growth and improvements to the investment climate. Participants were informed about free economic zones, modernization across various sectors, and broad business opportunities available in the country.

In his remarks, Nico Schermers highlighted the positive outcomes of Uzbekistan’s socio-economic development and encouraged Netherlands companies to actively leverage the opportunities created, bringing in investment, modern technologies and expertise to implement joint projects.

Representatives of Netherlands companies expressed keen interest in establishing direct contacts with Uzbek partners, pursuing joint investment projects and participating in sectoral forums and business missions in Uzbekistan.

The meeting concluded with the agreement on specific directions for cooperation and plans to continue dialogue between Uzbek and Netherlands business communities.
