ТASHKENT, August 30. /Dunyo IA/. At the invitation of President Sadyr Japarov of the Kyrgyz Republic, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Bishkek from August 30^th to September 1^st to participate in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and a meeting in the SCO Plus format, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, summit agenda includes pressing issues related to the further development of multifaceted cooperation within the SCO and improving the organization's work. Issues of international and regional cooperation will also be considered.

The meeting is expected to conclude with the adoption of the Bishkek Declaration marking the SCO’s 25th anniversary and a package of documents aimed at expanding cooperation in security, the economy, transport, environmental protection, artificial intelligence, cultural and humanitarian affairs, and other areas.

On the sidelines of the summit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will hold a series of bilateral meetings with heads of foreign delegations.

As part of the visit program, the President of Uzbekistan will also take part in the opening ceremony of the sixth World Nomad Games.
